Easing emotional pain - chosing Euthanasia for dog?

Sorry for your loss. It is extremely difficult & never gets any easier. I had to do 4 times & felt horrible each time even though I knew it was best for them. For me it worked a bit easier to decide that day to do instead of planning in advance a few days. I was so upset & focused on how everything was the last time he would be there doing certain things, I'm sure the stress/upset behavior was felt by the dogs also. I just tried to pick a nice day(if possible) so they would have a beautiful sunny day as their last memory. The only thing that helps is time to heal & remember all the good times. Sorry again.
