Mirena IUD + althlete??

Being active and an athlete does NOT effect the IUD at all. It will NOT cause it to come out or puncture your uterus. Although because you have not ever had a child that may be a problem.....some practitioners won't or can't put one in if you have never been pregnant or had a child. You would need an exam and discuss this with your health care provider.
