Should I let them reposes my furniture?

A few months ago i baught some furniture at mor, I paid 600 up front and then maid some payments on the other 500 that i got in credit. I lost my job last month and now i cant make the payment untill i find another job. im only 30 days late and they are already calling non stop and yelling at me and threatening to send me to collections and reposes the furniture. can they do that already? I have every intention of contiuing to pay it when i get a job but they say they wont wait either i pay now or they want their furniture back.....what is the best option for my credit???
