Aha, weird question, but need answers.?

so, my period is due sometime this week and for the past 2 days, i've been smelling period blood, but theres no blood. this happens about 2-3 days before i get my period. is this a sign that its coming, or is it just my discharge? and i dont need negative answers saying ew, clean your , i do clean it, its not an unclean smell, its blood smell.
